About Us
We are a company that values sustainability and turning old items into something beautiful. Most of our accessories are crafted from vintage designer bags that were destined for the landfill. These bags can no longer be used, as they are old, worn, or torn. Our mission, and the definition of "Upcycled", is to take these goods that were heading for the trash and restore them to their original beauty. Thank you for joining us in our mission! We love to take old designer bags off your hands, however, our Upcycle My Bag program is currently on hold. Keep your eye out for an update email when we plan to bring it back!
Ready to Ship items are single products that are already made and ship in 1-7 business days, versus our Customizable items that take about 3-4 weeks to be made. Ready to Ship items come as is, unless changes are requested through your post purchase customization email. They come from inventory stock, customer returns, production mistakes, or design tests. Customizable items are made when ordered and are able to fully customized.
Any discounted items purchased during a holiday promotion or sale are final sale and ship in simple packaging.

Patina is a natural process of leather aging, where the leather will darken, become softer, and conform to your wrist. This process happens with our Vachetta leather, which is a high quality leather also used by Louis Vuitton on the handles of their bags. The Vachetta starts out as a peachy color, then over time with wear and love, will start to develop into a beautiful caramel tone. Often, people who purchase Vachetta look to enhance or speed up this process by using coconut oil and gently massaging into the leather with a q-tip.

Sizing
Please click here to go to our Sizing Guide page to help you determine your Spark*l Size. But not to worry, if you accidentally order the wrong size, we will happily exchange it for the correct size. We want you to be happy with your band and wear it all the time!
Please note: you will choose your wrist size in our Customization Experience via your confirmation email after you purchase.
No worries! If your band doesn't fit, we offer free complimentary sizing exchanges. We want your band to fit perfectly! Please visit our exchange policy here to start the process!
Band Customizations
The Customization Experience is you own band building toolbox where you choose all your band's customizations after you purchase. You’ll be walked through each step with advice and tutorials to help you create the band of your dreams. The best part is you'll be able to see your band change with every customization you select. You’ll be able to see how different hardware colors, embellishment types, and band styles look with the leather you chose. There will be no guessing on how your band will look before you receive it. Once you choose your customizations, you can also save them as a preset to make it even easier the next time you purchase!
Please note: no matter if you purchased a Pre-Made or Made-to-Order item, you MUST complete the Customization Experience before we can begin handcrafting your accessory.

If you do not complete your Post Customization after checkout within one month (30 calendar days), we will ship your accessory built with the standard customizations pictured in the listing.
If you are having trouble completing your customizations, our team is ready to help! Please email our concierge staff at hello@sparklbands.com or call during business hours (Mon-Sun 8am - 4pm PST) and we would be happy to walk you through your options.
No. Once you confirm your customizations in the Customization Experience, your order will be sent to our team to begin production and no additional changes can be made. Please make sure before you confirm your customizations that you are sure everything is correct.

Yes! We currently offer versions of the Apple Watch, Samsung, and Fitbit. We are also able to do many other types of Smart Watches, but because some adapters are difficult to find, more expensive, and force us to make a custom shaped band, they may have an additional fee.

We love custom orders! We now offer a personalized way to build an accessory exactly to your preference.

Shipping
All our accessories are handmade and made to order, but we try to ship all items within 3-4 weeks of the purchase date. During busy seasons, shipping time may be affected as well. If you are in desperate need of quick shipment, please reach out to our customer service team and we will do our best to help you! We also offer Ready to Ship items that ship within 1-7 business days that you can find here.
We offer free Economy shipping for all US domestic orders. Packages will be shipped USPS unless otherwise specified, and all shipping, except for Economy, have insurance coverage of $50. All items, except Ready to Ships, take 3-4 weeks to be made and shipped out. Priority shipping does not mean your band will be made quicker, only that the shipping is faster.

5. International Shipping ($30)
Shipping time is 14 - 30 business days after product is made in 3-4 weeks

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be, prior to buying. In addition, items with batteries are not available for international shipping. You will receive a shipping confirmation through your email when your order ships. It will include a tracking number and a link to the shipping carrier. If you do not receive your tracking number within two weeks after placing your order, please reach out to our customer service team and we'll be happy to help!
Yes we do! International shipping has a flat rate of $30. Any other international shipping fees will be handled by the recipient of the package. We ship almost anywhere, but if you're worried that we don't ship to your country, please contact our customer service team and we can tell you for certain!

Satisfaction Guarantee
Our Satisfaction Guarantee Policy makes sure that we give you the perfect accessory that will stay beautiful for a long time. If anything is wrong or broken when the item arrives, we are more than happy to fix it for you free of charge.
Because the leather we use will eventually conform to your wrist and may stretch a little, we can also do complimentary sizing adjustments if needed!
We also offer refurbishment options for any band that has become a little too loved. See here our policy for refurbishment and the services we provide for a fee to keep your band looking beautiful.

If something is incorrect or broken on your item, we are more than happy to fix that. Please visit our exchange policy here to start the process!
Your accessory is sturdy and made to last, but with a little extra care, you can keep it as beautiful as the day you first got it.
· Keep all accessories flat when not being used or worn to avoid creasing.
· Use a mild cleansing wipe to clean when necessary.
· You can work out in any of our bands, but make sure to let any accessory air dry flat when wet.
Absolutely! We have some of the strongest snaps on the market and they can hold the weight of your watch. That being said, please test the hold every time you snap it on to ensure the snap is tightly secured. If your snaps become worn or are loose please contact us for a free snap replacement. Spark’l is not held liable if your band becomes unsnapped, and your watch is lost or damaged. We have buckle options if you would prefer the security of a buckle.
Exchanges & Returns
We want you to find the perfect accessory that you love, so we offer free domestic (not including military bases) returns on all Made to Order items (excluding Ready to Ship items) that are unworn and not purchased from a third party.
Any discounted items purchased during a holiday promotion or sale are final sale and ship in simple packaging.
We also offer free repairs for any accessories that come incorrect or the wrong size. If you absolutely can't find something that works for you, we will refund your method of payment. Read our full policy here.
We will price match items as long as the exact item is still available, same size, color, etc. and you are within 3 days of you receiving the item. Price adjustment will be made in a gift card.

We have gift cards! These can be mailed or emailed for you to print out with a unique code. Gift cards never expire and can be used online or in person. Find gift cards here.

We currently do not have our bands in stores, but if you are in San Luis Obispo, feel free to make an appointment with us by emailing hello@sparklbands.com and we can give you the VIP tour of the studio and make a custom creation for you!
