Auction Terms & Conditions
By taking part in any Spark*l auction event, including live shows, silent auctions and in-app auctions, you agree to the terms below. They exist for one reason: to keep bidding fair and enjoyable for every collector.
Bidding is a commitment
Every bid on a Spark*l auction item is a binding commitment to purchase that item. When you bid, other collectors step back because the piece may be yours. Please bid only on pieces you intend to keep.
Winners check out within 24 hours
All auction wins must be checked out within 24 hours of the auction closing. The same rule applies to every bidder.
If checkout is not completed within 24 hours, bidding on your account is paused. You will not be able to join future shows or auctions until all open wins are settled. An unpaid win holds a piece away from the collectors you outbid, so completing checkout on time is a kindness to them, too. Check out promptly and your account stays in good standing.
All auction items are final sale
Auction wins cannot be returned or exchanged. You can read more in our Exchanges & Returns policy.
Spark*l is not responsible for any trading, gifting or swapping of auction items between customers after the sale. We are unable to transfer ownership or move a winning bid to another customer.
If you decide you no longer want to keep a piece, you are welcome to list it on ReSpark*l, our official resale platform.
Quality is on us
Once you win and purchase an auction item, it is yours, including if you later change your mind. In the rare event a piece arrives with a defect or is not as described, Spark*l will repair it at no cost or issue a refund. Please let us know promptly by emailing hello@sparklbands.com. Each quality concern is reviewed case by case.
Charity donations
Donations tied to an auction event are submitted after the event ends and are finalized once checkout is complete. Checking out on time also makes sure the donation attached to your win goes through.
Auction Exclusive items
These terms cover all Auction Exclusive items, including during Pre-Shop Perks windows. If you purchase an Auction Exclusive item outside of an auction window, these terms still apply to it.
